Route 6 Development Company, LLC is a Pennsylvania corporation organized to buy and develop—up through the permitting process- land and buildings for commercial purposes. The company may purchase the property outright, or through options acquire ‘owners in equity’ rights to develop these properties. Route 6 then takes the property through the Federal, State and local permitting process. This includes sewer, water, electric, natural gas, highway and all rights of way. We also coordinate with adjacent landowners, Planning Commissions, township and county officials.
After preliminary approvals are in place Route 6 will normally sell – outright or through a partnership—all or a portion of the “improved “property.
The principals of Route 6 started in residential real estate ownership and development
in 1972 and expanded into commercial properties in 1987.
